This book was technically hand woven by me. It consists on a compilation of the very best of Celeste’s first 5 years.
What means to be a man today? This book is a compilation of our best projects around this theme. As many of the titles I ve used, this ones comes from a song by Leonard Cohen.
An experiment I made with the intention of knowing the priorities of the people near Celeste.
An exhibition curated by Mauricio Limon and me as part of Celeste’s 5th anniversary inside an old Suburbia. The mall was about to be demolished in order to raise a residential building on its place. The space allowed us to create huge installations, which were accompanied by a text by Eduardo Abaroa. The show included works by Federico Herrero, Pablo Leon de la Barra, Guillermo Santamarina, and Chemi Rosado among many others.

During Celeste’s years, we published all kinds of inserts for the magazine. No ficcion was the must succesful of them. It consisted on a compilation of true stories selected by me, narrated by professional and amateur writters and artists.

Celeste was probably the first publication of its kind, published in Spnish and in Latin America. It was created by Vanesa Fernandez and me, and was published from 1999 to 2014. Our labor with Celeste was to connect the best national and international creators. Eventually it was distributed in all the country, as well as in Palais de Tokyo and collete in Paris, as well as several stores in Tokyo, NY, Seul, and LA.
